Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Pays Glowing Homage to Hazrat Amir Kabir Mir Syed Ali Hamadani( RA)

On the solemn occasion of the death anniversary of Hazrat Amir Kabir Mir Syed Ali Hamadani( RA), the Mirwaiz of Kashmir, Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, paid sincere homage to the deified saint, calling him a towering figure in the spiritual, religious, and socio- profitable metamorphosis of Kashmir.

Mirwaiz said that Hazrat Shah Hamadan arrived in Kashmir when the region was steeped in unbelief and ignorance. While the foundation of Islam had been laid before by Hazrat Bulbul Shah( RA), it was through the grim missionary sweats of Hazrat Amir Kabir and his companions that Islam took deep root and flourished across the Valley.

He noted that Hazrat Shah Hamadan wasn’t only a dominie and leftist but also a visionary who introduced crafts and diligence to empower the people of Kashmir economically, promoting tone-reliance and quality through work.

Describing him as a true donator of the Kashmiri people, Mirwaiz said that in moment times of fermentation, the training of Hazrat Amir Kabir — deeply predicated in the Qur’an and the Sunnah — continued to serve as a dateless source of guidance and spiritual strength.
