Maulana Mubarak Mubarki – A Guiding Light of Knowledge and Deeds from the Ahl-e-Hadith School

By: Zeeshan Rashid

When discussing great scholars and spiritual leaders, Maulana Mubarak Mubarki will always be remembered with love, respect, and admiration. He was not only a religious scholar or a speaker—he was a spiritual guide, a man of wisdom, and a strong supporter of Muslim unity. His life was full of knowledge, patience, and honesty.

Born in a religious family in Kashmir, he got his early education at a local school. But his love for learning took him to well-known Ahl-e-Hadith institutions across India, where he studied Islam deeply based on the Qur’an and Sunnah. For him, knowledge was not just about learning facts—it was a way of life and a way to help the Muslim community.

In the 1970s, he started preaching and spreading the true message of Islam. In 1979, he became the President of Bazm-e-Tauheed Ahl-e-Hadith Auqaf Trust, a position he held for more than 40 years. He worked honestly and sincerely, guiding thousands of people toward monotheism (belief in one God).

His speeches were calm, clear, and full of wisdom. They touched people’s hearts. He didn’t shout or use emotional words—he spoke gently and with deep meaning. His words had truth and honesty.

Maulana Mubarki was also a writer. His articles in religious magazines helped people think, learn, and grow. He always supported unity among Muslims and respected scholars from all schools of thought.

He believed that women should also get religious education and worked hard to guide young people. His words were filled with both knowledge and kindness.

On May 2, 2025, a great loss was felt in Kashmir. Early in the morning, the sad news of his passing spread everywhere. People cried, and the whole atmosphere became filled with sorrow. His funeral prayer was held at Central Jamia Masjid Srinagar, led by his son Muhammad Ayub Mubarki, and attended by people from all parts of society—scholars, leaders, and ordinary people who loved him.

He was buried in Sanat Nagar, but his teachings and his love remain alive in our hearts.

Even though Maulana Mubarki has left this world, his mission continues. His son, Muhammad Ayub Mubarki, is now leading the same path. His teachings, his prayers, and his honesty will always be with us, guiding us like a light in the dark.
